San Diego-based CRES Insurance Services LLC announced it has appointed Steven Sargenti as president and CEO, and Andrew Silverman as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Sargenti was the president of Accurate Claim Services, a third-party administrator that provided claims and legal service to niche insurance program business. He also spent two years as a defense litigator, taking cases to trial and through appeal. He has been part of the CRES executive team for more than a decade and succeeds Doug Campbell as president.
Silverman has more than 21 years of insurance industry experience. He began his insurance career as a property claims representative with the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies and was eventually promoted to commercial property claims supervisor for all of San Diego. He succeeded Sargenti as the president of Accurate Claim Services and later joined CRES, starting its in-house third-party administrator, Superior Claim Services. He has been a part of the CRES executive team for more than a decade with nine years as the company’s chief financial officer.
CRES Insurance Services LLC is managing general agent that focuses on small and middle market businesses. It is known for its professional liability programs for real estate and mortgage professionals. It also provides workers’ compensation, small- to mid-size restaurant coverage, auto repair and smog shop programs, nursing homes and privatized military housing protection.
