    Great article guys! I have the opportunity to quote a smartphone developer today. I noticed that if I tried to call this client, he would never respond.

    As a result, I created a contact page with a business insurance application/contact form embedded. The business owner completed it online and sent me an email say, “here you go. What’s next, do you need my card number?”

    Your article is right in line with tomorrow’s technologies being used today!

    There is a great opening for producers that want to use Social Media now to market themselves online and reach these generations. Whoever communicates best wins!

    The article states insurance ‘companies’ need to provide quotes online, and a few other means of access. The first 3 comments address insurance ‘agencies’ that are interacting with consumers. Agencies are the he ultimate center of information as well as the buffer between the company and the consumer.

    That being said, consumers tend to do insurance research online and then buy from an agent. Buy insurance is a bit more complicated than buying a TV or a pair of pants. Consumers need to be insured properly. Insurance companies need to protect themselves from liability claims, which may arise when a consumer in not properly insured.
