Insurance Agents & Brokers Association of California has changed its name to California Agents & Brokers Insurance Association — or Cal Agents for short.
“Cal Agents is a more succinct name to quickly describe who we are and where we work,” said Joe Jimenez, president of the association.
He said his group will continue to be a voice for the industry and monitor the business climate in California for fellow agents and brokers, speaking up when the regulations go too far.
Cal Agents mission is to defend insurance producers’ rights to operate in California. In addition, the association provides products and services to help its members compete more effectively in the state.
