Modesto, Calif.-based Capax Management and Insurance Services has made several promotions.
Joel Geddes III has been named an officer of Capax and vice president of special risks at Giddings, Corby, Hynes Inc. He joined Capax in 2004 and was most recently a business advisor in the commercial insurance and special risk department. He will drive sales for the agencies’ specialized captive programs and focus on client and carrier relationships.
Ahren Hohenwarter has been named director of risk management for the Capax Companies. Hohenwarter joined Capax in 2006 and was most recently a business advisor in the commercial insurance Department. He will be responsible for delivering the companies’ risk management services, as well as creating and managing commercial customer relationships.
Justin Moye has joined Capax as a marketing associate. He is new to the insurance industry, a graduate of UC Berkley. He has spent the past three years as a sales associate with Gallo Sales Co.
In another recent action, Tim Finster, president of Capax Management and Insurance Services, has been named to the board of directors. He joined Capax in 2004 and has served the company as chief sales officer. He has held numerous sales leadership and management positions with Traveler’s Insurance and Pan American Underwriters.
