Barney & Barney has added Michael Grant to the Commercial Division of its Orange County, Calif., office. Grant, who will serve as a director of the Technology Practice, brings 17 years of insurance experience to the firm. He most recently was a principal with Costello & Sons Insurance
Grant has experience in designing custom risk management programs for technology companies. He previously was a chief financial officer for Alton Geoscience Inc., a senior auditor for Ernst & Young, and a postgraduate technical assistant at the Financial Accounting Standards Board. He is a certified public accountant, and has a background in sales, loss control and account management.
