Lockton has named Laurel H. Nichinson as a vice president and unit manager in the firm’s Commercial Insurance division, and Robert L. Johnson Jr. as a vice president and producer in the firm’s Commercial Insurance division. Both will work out of the company’s San Francisco office.
The addition of Nichinson expands Lockton’s depth of expertise in property and casualty insurance for mid- to large-size clients. With extensive experience in commercial insurance, including loss-sensitive and captive programs, Nichinson has held many key client relationship management roles during her career. Immediately prior to joining Lockton, she was an account executive at Aon San Francisco, where she advised large, complex clients. She also held several positions within AIG’s Risk Management group.
The addition of Johnson expands Lockton’s depth of expertise in the institutional real estate space. He has held many key business development and management roles during his career. Immediately prior to joining Lockton, he was owner of Johnson Independent Advisors Inc., a consulting firm focused on institutional real estate. He has also held various positions with real estate and financial services companies, including AMB Property Corporation, La Salle Investment Management, and the Ernst and Young Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group.
