Argo Insurance, a member of Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd will offer a landscape and arborist program through its Commercial Programs unit in partnership with First Capital – Arrowhead Wholesale Insurance Services (FC-AWIS). The program, tailored to the needs of landscape and arborist contractors, will offer coverage for property, crime, inland marine, commercial auto and excess risks.
First Capital – AWIS has provided property and casualty insurance products for its distribution network in California since 2006 and opted to select Argo Insurance for its program specialty focus and capability to expand marketing efforts to Arizona, Nevada, Colorado and Utah for landscape and arborist contractors.
FC-AWIS will continue to underwrite, rate and issue policies for the landscape and arborist program from its headquarters in San Diego, Calif. Argo Insurance will oversee auditing and compliance for the program and policies, which will be issued by Argonaut Insurance Co.
