Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. on Monday announced the acquisition of Mutual Insurance Services Inc. in Federal Way, Wash.
Mutual Insurance Services Inc., which was founded in 1985, is a managing general agent and wholesale insurance broker that provides surplus, property/casualty, professional business liability and other specialty insurance products and services to their independent insurance agent and broker clients primarily in northwestern United States.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Connie Divelbiss and her associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Joel Cavaness, president of Itasca, Ill.-based Arthur J. Gallagher subsidiary Risk Placement Services Inc.
“MIS is a great example of what we look for in an acquisition partner,” J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr., president and CEO of Arthur J. Gallagher, said in a statement.
