The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says there was a minor earthquake near Yakutat.
The earthquake occurred Saturday at 5:21 p.m. and was centered 43 miles north of Yakutat, a coastal town on the Gulf of Alaska. It had a preliminary magnitude of 3.9.
The center says there were no reports of it being felt or doing any damage.
