San Francisco fire officials say two people are in critical condition after a two-alarm fire broke out at an apartment building in the city’s Mission district.
Crews were still on the scene around 6 a.m. Thursday dousing hot spots. The two victims were taken to the hospital with burn injuries.
Fire officials say two other people were also injured, but they are expected to be okay.
The building had six apartments and housed about 35 residents. The cause of the blaze is not known, but it appears to have started on the top floor.
