The store missed the opportunity to fix this before the public became aware by offering a “free grooming”. Should have been (1) formal apology (2) mention that the store has high standards that were not met for this customer and steps taken so this won’t happen again (3) an offer to pay for the vet bills and (4) if they wanted to offer a gift certificate for products at the store to sooth them.
They tried to “reattach, glue or sew” the ear back on? Like no one is going to notice? If this were a movie comedy I’d laugh, but for real?

I’d pass on the free grooming. Why give them a shot at the other ear?
are these “meat cutters” or dog groomers? I’ve had trouble with Petco also.
