Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Heffernan Insurance Brokers has hired Jammie Y. Nam in its Orange County office as vice president of employee benefits.
Nam has nearly 20 years’ experience in the employee benefit industry as an underwriter and consultant.
Prior to Heffernan, she worked for an international consulting firm and two health insurance carriers.
She has experience representing mid- to large-size employers in a variety of industries. She specializes in alternative funding, and evaluates and implements opportunities to manage risk and cost, while enhancing benefit offerings.
Heffernan, which provides insurance and financial services products to a range of businesses and individuals, has offices in San Francisco, Petaluma, Palo Alto, Los Angeles and Orange County, as well as Portland, Ore., St. Louis, Mo. and New York, N.Y.
