Senator DeLeon said: “Why would you object to $740 million more being put back toward injured workers’ benefits, quicker payout and higher quality care?” Umm, maybe because THESE CLAIMS ARE JUST NOT TRUE. If you are giving injured workers so much “more benefits” why take away psychological claims for seriously injured workers? I’ll tell you that there is no other reason but to reduce payments to injured workers. And why take away the 15% increase for injured workers whose employers cannot give them their job back? MESSAGE TO SENATOR DELEON: THIS BILL HURTS SERIOUSLY INJURED WORKERS. PERIOD. AND IF YOU KNEW WHAT SERIOUSLY INJURED WORKERS ARE EXPERIENCING IN THIS SYSTEM, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT. Higher quality care??? What is so “high quality” about a doctor I’ve never seen before controlling what treatment I can have and what I don’t have. Don’t believe this malarky. Senator DeLeon – I am pretty sure you have no idea what injured workers go thru, that is why you “have no idea” why injured workers advocates are agains this bill. THIS BILL IS A CRUEL JOKE.

    Dear Governor Brown:

This bill seems to good to be true because it is. It will harm injured workers who are severely injured and rely on their benefits. It will reduce benefits for seriously injured workers while increasing benefits for “not so injured” workers. Why? Why would anyone think that this is a good idea. Why do you think it is a good idea to subject injured workers to yet another layer of medical review – isn’t the treating doctor and QME/AME process enough??? Why add one more layer of bureaucracy? How does leaving an injured workers’ medical decisions up to a doctor who will never see the injured worker help at all? So what’s in it for you? What are the politicians trading injured workers for this time? Support for Prop 30 tax? A pat on the back? Good luck and thanks for disregarding me.

    Hey Don!:

The “Insurance Journal”??… Industry ‘yellow journalism’ rag??

    Hey Don:

Read the legislation?? Answer: “NO! I just listened to what the
‘Industry’ hacks and ‘Brown nosers’ had to say… including the usual lies that were told about the attorneys who represent the interests of injured workers” Good job Don, as the brown from the “1%” builds up and up on your nose.

    Hey Don:
Ever try making an honest buck??

    Hey Don:
READ the legislation?? … DICTATORIAL is what it turns the MPNs into!!… as an injured worker you get whatever lousy, inept care the “Company doctor” wants to give you. Wait till you suffer a Work Injury Don… then the care you receive won’t be worth the brown stuff you scrape off your nose every night!

    Hey Don:

Read the Legislation?… Know anything about Work Comp?? Look into the Hisotry of SB 899??… the Swartzenegger “solution”… By LAW Don the bill was not supposed to reduce PD rates… what did it do??? CUT PD by 60% !! … the Insurance Industry made BILLIONS… did you look into this Don??… did you ‘Investigate’??…did you ‘learn’ anything about what you’re writing about???? Answer: NO ! Good job Don…. and the brown keeps piling higher and higher….

Hey Don: Sooo… fools like you “believe” the “$750 million” figure that’s going to be ‘given back’ to injured workers??….Ha, Ha, Ha!! What a joke!…. where’s this coming from Don?? Oh, yeah!! by taking away Injured Workers rights to be paid for their Work Injuries… oh… that ‘slipped by you’ Don?? How is that??? Have you looked at the legislation Don? …or are you in the bar having your third martini with the Insurance Company “spokesman” that spoon fed you the drivel you wrote in this article?? Nice job, Don.

When the unions back employers instead of their rank and file, then the ultimate betrayal has been done but this wouldn’t be the first time, Since Pulaski of the CAL FED. DID THE SAME WITH PAST GOVERNOR REPUBLICAN ARNOLD SCWARTZENEGGER(approving SB899 IN A SECRET HEARING AGAIN) AND NOW WITH BROWN DOING THE SAME BETRAYAL!!!!! BOTH PARTIES SIDES WITH LABOR ARE NOT AND I MEAN ARE NOT PRO UNION OR PRO-WORKER. HE along with the legislative cohorts are only concerned about themselves. HE(PULASKI) NOR THE UNIONS REPRESENT ANY WORKER, INJURED OR ABOUT TO BE INJURED & THAT WILL CONTINUE TO HAPPEN AS IT HAS BEEN HAPPENING UNDER BOTH PARTIES & UNION LEADERSHIP WITH EMPLOYERS & INSURANCE COMPANIES FOR OVER 30 YEARS!
