Beazley Adds Kim to Medical Liability Team in California

Michelle Kim has joined Beazley and will be located in the Glendale, Calif. office, adding to the company’s miscellaneous medical team.

Kim worked for six years as the allied healthcare product head at Hiscox. Kim has also served as an underwriter and senior underwriter of various product lines at Markel Corp.

With underwriters in London, Chicago, and now Glendale, Beazley’s growing healthcare practice currently serves a quarter of Healthgrades’ top hospitals in the U.S., as well as numerous clinical research organizations, tissue and blood banks, clinical laboratories, medical staffing agencies and other healthcare-related organizations.

Beazley’s Lloyd’s syndicates are a larger insurer of U.S. D&O coverage in the London insurance market and. The company has also built a local presence in the U.S. market, writing a broad suite of management liability products including D&O for both public and private companies, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability and fidelity insurance.
