Donald Soderberg has been named administrator of Nevada’s Division of Industrial Relations.
Soderberg is based out of the Las Vegas office and will oversee the division’s statewide operations, which encompasses five units to address worker safety: workers’ compensation; mine safety and Training; and safety consultation and training.
Soderberg has more than 25 years of legal and regulatory experience, which includes eight years as the chairman of the Nevada Public Utilities Commission. He also served terms as commissioner on the commission, as well as on the Nevada Transportation Services Authority and Public Service Commission of Nevada.
He most recently served as the vice president of risk management and corporate compliance at Southwest Gas.
