A woman seeks $600,000 in a slip-and-fall lawsuit filed against a Bend, Ore. hospital.
The Bend Bulletin reported the lawsuit filed on behalf of Diana Jones alleges the hospital failed to warn of a slippery tile floor as visitors tracked in snow in February 2011.
The lawsuit states Jones suffered soft-tissue injuries that required surgery on both shoulders.
In response, attorneys for St. Charles Health System deny any negligence. They say Jones failed to maintain a proper and reasonable lookout for her own safety.
A trial date has been set for Aug. 12.
