Heffernan Insurance Brokers has hired Christian Caravia in its Orange County branch as assistant vice president.
Caravia will focus on building the nonprofit, hospitality and transportation niches for Heffernan in Southern California. His duties will include new business development and client service.
Caravia has financial services and direct sales experience. He spent five years as a financial consultant to high net worth individuals, and also has experience in the financial recruiting and medical device industries.
Walnut Creek, Calif.-based Heffernan has California offices in San Francisco, Petaluma, Menlo Park, Los Angeles and Orange County, as well as in Portland, Ore., St. Louis, Mo. and New York, N.Y.
