The hilarity of politicians freaking out over ridesharing continues. I suppose it is good news that the clowns in Seattle have backtracked a little bit.
Hey, I have an idea: If cab companies think it is “unfair” for these companies not to be regulated the way they are, then repeal all of the regulations for cabs too. Prices will plummet, quality will improve, jobs will be created, and we’ll all be better off. Oh, wait a minute. That would mean we’d have real freedom and would have to make decisions for ourselves. Much too radical for America.
