The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation named Steve Marohn chairman of its Western division board of directors.
Marohn is western zone officer for CNA.
As chair of IICF, Marohn will help guide the philanthropic efforts of its Western division. Marohn assumes the role after having served on the IICF’s Western division board for six years.
Marohn has more than 25 years of industry experience. As CNA’s Western zone officer, Marohn is responsible for aligning eight branch offices throughout the Western U.S. to drive growth. From his base in the Bay Area, he also manages CNA’s San Francisco branch. Prior to his position at CNA, he spent more than 18 years at AIG, where he most recently served as executive vice president for AIG Japan Holdings in Tokyo.
IICF’s Western division operates across California and maintains chapters in Arizona and Colorado. IICF is directed and funded by the insurance industry. The foundation provides grants, volunteer services and leadership.
