Why do we continue to call these for-hire services “ridesharing?” When your mother taught you to share your toys with your friends, did she say “and remember to charge them for that?” I didn’t think so. I can live with the growing-in-popularity term “Transportation Network Company (TNC)” Calling them ridesharing makes it seem to be something different from other livery services, but beyond how you contact them to get a ride, they are the same! Rant over.

If it’s such a big deal, then why is the limit so low? That’s garbage!

Traditional Taxi Drivers are DOA… They will be moonlighting as UBER Drivers for 10% of previous fare… Now EVERYONE with a CAR is a HACK!

New bill makes the farmer’s endorsement useless. Stop skirting the law. They are taxis and limos and treat them as such and make them comply with the requirements. I wouldn’t put anyone in my family into a “ridesharing” vehicle as they stand now.
