Victor O. Schinnerer & Co. has named Steve Falecki vice president and forest and logging practice leader.
Falecki will lead Schinnerer’s forest and logging underwriting unit housed in Sacramento, Calif. He will be based in the firm’s Sacramento office and report to Scott Thomas, senior vice president.
He comes from Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co., where he was west region casualty underwriting director responsible for the management and underwriting oversight of the region’s admitted excess liability business. Prior to Fireman’s Fund he worked for Marsh as a casualty client advisor. He has also held various underwriting and brokerage positions at Safeco Insurance Co. and Propel Insurance.
Schinnerer is underwriting managers and provides specialty insurance programs.
