Flanigan-Leavitt Insurance Agency has hired Kyle Nielsen and Kelley Shewmaker in the firm’s Reno, Nev. office.
Nielsen is a sales executive focusing on restaurants, retail, construction and auto repair. Shewmaker is a property/casualty agent.
Prior to insurance, Nielsen operated a golf resort and ski area in northern California.
Shewmaker has 20 years of insurance experience. He worked with California Insurance Group as a personal lines underwriter, then as a commercial lines underwriter. Following CIG, he became a captive co-agent for Church Mutual.
Flanigan-Leavitt Insurance Agency is part of Leavitt Group.
