My first guess as to the cause would have been chemicals in all of that bro-spray tan stuff flying through the air. Glad to be proven wrong…you win this time Vegas.
I was in Las Vegas when this happened; however, at the western end of Flamingo boulevard on the way to Red Rock Canyon park, about 5-7 miles away. As I glanced into my rear view mirror, it first appeared that a fuel truck had blown up on the freeway. It that big, and that intense with thick black smoke extending hundreds of feet into the area. Amazing that no one was hurt seriously.
