Mobile telematics company Driveway Software Inc. in California’s Silicon Valley has named Mike Slattery executive vice president of product and operations.
Slattery has a background in developing and launching UBI products. Slattery developed and launched Safeco’s Teensurance, a telematics based teen safety program. After Safeco was acquired by Liberty Mutual Insurance, he developed an accident forgiveness program. For The Hartford he launched TrueLane, a personal lines UBI program.
He was most recently senior vice president of innovation, strategy and connected car for AAA Club Partners.
Driveway provides a smartphone platform to deliver UBI.
