Being fired at the beginning of a low pay job does not merit you 1 million dollars of compensation. She would not deserve 1 million dollars even if true.

If she was fired for reason I agree. I’m mostly pointing out the extremity of those who want there to be extreme penalties for supposed racism.

          A million dollars?

Where does that figure come from exactly? The trauma of being fired is worth a million dollars?

Facing any form of oppression is?

We all face some sort of racism, even white folks, and hispanic folks, and asian folks. A whole lot of people are going to be having to find money to pay these people to live free for live because someone acted racist to them.

          It’s insane over action.

Nice to see you know the same about the legal system as you do everything else, or in other words, nothing. In the US system you are allowed to ask for more than you would have made, or lost, for various other damages as well as to send a message to the accused for their illegal acts.

          UW:

What I said above, had some key words. She had not been there long enough to have been cheated her career. 5 months.

I mentioned that. And further to the point, it was a low paying job. Being fired once does not harm her to the tune of 1 million dollars.

Also, I’m very well aware of that concept. I’ve taken insurance courses regarding employee lawsuits.

You are making a lot of assumptions, bigoted assumptions, because you are assuming due to the fact that I criticize your precious left, that I am an evil righty tighty.

You have assumed wrong, and you’re why the democrats will lose long term.

I am well aware of what you put. What you put does not in any circumstance grant her a million dollars of income. It was a low pay grade job, over the course of 20 years she might come close to that 1,000,000 and it will not harm her to that degree. She’s going to find a job soon enough. She will be fine. I don’t support free rides because someone did something supposedly racist.

          Did you catch that UW?

You’re an idiot. Even people who are moderates you berate and insult because they think a ONE MILLION dollar suit is not reasonable, especially when rape claims from businesses vary between 1-3 million. So some of these people raped get just as much as this woman for being fired.

Just ponder that for a moment UW. That’s insane.

And I’m now pro rape for saying people who aren’t harmed as much as people who are raped, shouldn’t get awards close to that of people who are raped.

Freedom of religion means just that. It does not mean that the rest of the world has to change to suit my beliefs. If a job has a set break time of 15 min then I know that before I start. It does not mean I am entitled to more time or different times. Some jobs can accommodate that some can’t.

He used to be a Catholic, or so he has said in the past.

I can see why he left, and it is the same weakness he has now. I said before my theory is he outright rejected God’s will, and instead wanted to own God. I think God took away all his reason as a result. Those who seek truth God gives it, and those who manipulate truth god hides it.

It’s like the miracles Jesus did, he specifically said that he was not there for people who didn’t believe, and they would not see him intentionally. I’ll try to find the passage since I am paraphrasing, but there are many biblical quotes in which God makes it clear if you aren’t at least trying to seek truth he removes his graces. He allows your heart to harden. Etc.

I want to add something to my last post, because most people don’t realize this:

Seeking truth doesn’t mean you will not be flawed. God expects you to be flawed while seeking the truth.

If you label someone’s character who is seeking truth, then you stop your own path. I think people were meant to be this way, so each person needed every other person to progress forward. The only way at that point was to humble oneself, and then seek more truth, and submit to God and each other.

I believe in bantering, and submitting when wrong. I believe in looking past supposed moral aspects of people and politicians, and instead looking at their plans. If they have a good idea I believe in taking it, and using it. Ergo my Obama 401k mandate support.

Ergo my public system combined with private.

If one starts to believe they should not submit to God and each other, (Planet didn’t like submitting to the Catholic Church’s way of life, is my theory remember, which is his way of not wanting to submit to God) then they cannot progress.

They cannot get new things they need. Information becomes impossible, growth becomes impossible.

This is similar to UW. He has labeled all those who are righty tighties as I have coined the term just today.

People who as a whole are not credible. I label ideals and concepts as wrong. There is a difference.

We need to defeat and progress ideologies, not the supposed morality of other people.

Such ignorance. Agent needs to now read about how he’s about slavery and somehow doesn’t know it, by association of some sort. You are delusional.

Context is needed in all things, and regarding slavery that you just quoted to more or less discredit the bible (and somehow link that to Agent being pro slavery, but somehow not Planet who constantly quotes biblical high ground?) is abhorrent and basically scummy which is par for the course for your commentary.

Slavery as it pertains in the Bible was generally referring to neighboring nations dealing with Islamic war. Prisoners of war were kept as slaves, yes, and they were mandated to treat them well, despite these slaves just having tried to kill them UW.

Context of the times is needed. Also, these slaves generally were only kept a finite period of time, were also entitled to God’s mercy, and were not treated as sub human.

Slavery as it worked when this was written saved lives if anything. The general standard back then was to kill off the city that warred with you.

When God said you may have slaves in the old testament, he was saying if you do that it’s ok and all, at least you aren’t killing them, but treat them with dignity.

            And more context:

When neighbors were selling slaves, the origin of most these slaves were through war.

So let’s say a Jewish nation and a neighboring nation were selling each other slaves.

The origin of these slaves were not just people they decided to make into slaves.

The typical ways you became a “slave” so to speak, were:

            Engaging in crime.
Being a part of a warring nation and a prisoner of war.
            Becoming in massive debt.

The way you paid your debt was to become a “slave” so to speak and most people were freed.

The way they handled a warring nation prisoner of war, was the same way, and is better than we currently do.
The way they handled crimes was the fair for the same reason.

They did not just up and make people slaves, note that proceeding that, it said you may not make slaves of your brothers. This means essentially, you cannot take someone without guilt, and say they owe you anything.

And regardless, as I said, the way they treated slaves was much like our programs by the state for rehabilitation. The vast majority did not beat their slaves, though I’m sure you will say the Bible allowed it, consider again who the slaves were at the time that were being beat:

            Law breakers.
            Criminals.
People who criminally did not pay debts, not just your average Joe who innocently got behind.
People who went to war with you.

Yeah…Pretty sure if that is who God said you could beat, it isn’t quite how you pen it.

The Bible is not contradictory. You just have to know how to digest it.

Allow me to use more examples of why this would be better than current governmental law.

Let’s say you engage in crime and get a 7 year prison sentence. The government does a horrible job of integration back into society. They don’t include you with the society you harmed. They don’t mend the relationship.

            Now the Jews:

You commit crimes, and are found guilty. You are assigned to a family who has you live in their household. They have you do chores, and help with the labor, and treat you much like a child. This comes with responsibility, discipline, and love. Over the same 7 years, you will learn respect, and through this person, will likely be able to rehabilitate yourself into a role with their society. Yes, even the warring nations people, prisoners of war. You

I would like to know why this is worse than our current jailing system, and why it is immoral.
