What an odd comment, given that there are currently two articles on IJ regarding males in education molesting young girls. Given this and your unfounded “guilty of sexual harrassment” allegation regarding the woman in the Menard’s lawsuit, one wonders whether you have some sort of knee-jerk defensive agenda in light of recent events.
I realize this is probably tough for you to understand, but the issue at hand is teachers and other persons in positions of authority and/or power using those positions to take sexual advantage of impressionable children and teens. The issue is not specific to one gender and is actually related to BOTH.
I find it odd that you would limit your focus on this issue in the manner suggested by your initial post.
Predators like this guy make life very difficult for the many male teachers who are professional and respectful of their students. Thinking back on my school years (admittedly many years ago) men bring an important perspective to teaching that is different than women. I would have had a different education if all my elementary school teachers had been women. True, woman can be abusers, but when these situations make the news it is usually the men.
Almost every story I see on the net is a female teacher assaulting a young boy. They keep getting caught and prosecuted as well.

I recommend you paying attention to the news sometime Fair. It will open your eyes about female teachers and what they have been doing.
