Let’s say my kid kills three people in a car accident along with himself while he is high on pot? When I sue you for selling high-potency edibles, is that covered? What if the dead people sue me as well as the distributor/producer/wholesaler? Is that covered?
(Or did we all assume the risk because it was a “consistently safe product”? And if so, what the hell does that mean?)
Let’s say a pharmaceutical company sells a drug without any warnings about driving while using the drug, because the drug can cause drowsiness. If someone is in a car accident, everyone knows the pharmaceutical company will get sued to death for failing to warn.
That is exactly the situation I describe above regarding pots sellers. And so the question is quite legitimate.
