Tesla Hits Parked Police Vehicle in California, Driver Blames Autopilot

Granted, it was probably a bad move to label it “Autopilot”, but people abdicating control of their vehicle to a system designed to assist their driving are lazy, stupid or both.
Really people. Stop using auto pilot. How many warnings does it take to tell you do not take your hands off the wheel. Geez, another Darwin award winner.
apparently, it wasn’t the autopilot…it was the Ambien.
If a Tesla cannot recognize an 18 wheeler, it won’t recognize a Police Car.
Except in that incident the tractor trailer was moving and in this incident the police car was parked and unoccupied.
