I certainly hope something can be done. These guys live from paycheck to paycheck as it is. Gas is going up and now they have to carry Workers Comp with occupational hazard class 4?. I hate to break it to our governor but we all need deliveries, including the state government. This bill drives many hard workers out of business. Are the drones going to deliver everything? Squeezing more money out of these guys just makes them want to go bus tables. They would make more money. This bill is SHAMEFUL.

Question – Who benefits from this bill? Please allow me to interject this cynical perspective. Those who have the means would stand to profit gain control over the industry; therefore it seems to reason that those entities would have the ear of the legislators so to speak.
The little man would lose again. When does it end governor. Shame on you and those that assist in perpetrating the fraud on California citizens and other that may be impacted by the legislation.
