The supervisors had meetings with the growers without the public and made deals so the growers could put in their farms without the air filtration systems before they received a license. The supervisors also did not charge a fee for the licenses. Santa Barbara County is the only County in the state who does not charge the growers a fee. Our valley is very small and we are crowed with cannabis farms. We have more cannabis farms than any other city in the state.

I hear that this is also a problem in the Camarillo area where many of the old lima bean fields now grow cannabis.
