Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires McConnell, Manit & Trout in California

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired McConnell, Manit & Trout Insurance Services LLC in San Louis, Obispo, Calif.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Rick McConnell, Mike Manit, Doug Trout and their associates will continue to operate from their current locations under the direction of Scott Firestone, head of Gallagher’s Southwest region retail property/casualty brokerage operations.

MMT is a property/casualty broker with a focus on serving the building materials, energy, waste, construction and transportation industries. It services clients across the U.S. from offices in San Louis Obispo and Fresno, Calif.; Reno, Nev.; and Boise, Idaho.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. is an insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Ill.
