Alliant Insurance Services Inc. has named Larry Shapiro senior vice president in mergers and acquisitions.
Shapiro will serve as the representations and warranties team leader and be based in San Francisco, Calif. He will provide risk solutions to private equity firms and alternative asset investors, including transactional risk services, private equity procurement initiatives, post-acquisitions account management and pre-close due diligence.
Shapiro was previously a senior vice president within the mergers and acquisitions group of Willis Towers Watson. He was a partner and general counsel at Plus Funding Group before that.
Newport Beach, Calif.-based Alliant provides property/casualty, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, underwriting, surety, and financial products and services.
