Newfront appoints Talmanson to Lead Property and Casualty Team
Industry veteran Michael Talmanson is leading the new property and casualty team at the Boston headquarters for Newfront, a tech-enabled, full-service brokerage. Talmanson, executive vice president and founding partner of the Boston office, brings nearly two decades of experience.
Previously, he led the technology and cyber risk practice at William Gallagher Associates before being named area senior vice president at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Talmanson leads a group of five P&C experts at Newfront in the Boston office.
Woodruff Sawyer Appoints Dorsey Vice President, Private Equity and Transactional Risk Group
Woodruff Sawyer, headquartered in San Francisco, California, has announced Todd Dorsey has joined the firm as Vice President in the private equity and venture capital group. Prior to joining Woodruff Sawyer, Dorsey served three years at Lockton, where he provided risk mitigation solutions for private equity and private equity-backed portfolio companies.
In his role, Dorsey will be partnering with various entities on a variety of insurance-related solutions frequently utilized in middle market transactions. This includes insurance and employee benefits due diligence for active transactions as well as transactional risk solutions.
