December 30, 2016- Sixty-seven insurance professionals have successfully completed the Certified Construction Insurance Program and are now officially CCIP Designees and there are 100’s enrolled in the program.

In February 2016, The Insurance Community/University first introduced the newly created certification program for construction. The CCIP certification is a cutting-edge approach to insurance education delivered through live, interactive webinars taught by experts in the field. The CCIP program is designed and instructed by the team of experts that created the CISC designation.

The CCIP consists of eleven (2 hr) classes each requires successful completion of an exam administered after the course is completed. As a bonus, the classes are approved for CE in several states.

This program should be attended by everyone specializing in insurance for the construction risk. Working with the construction industry is only getting more challenging as forms change, construction contracts become more important for the insurance transactions, case law changing that affect the insurance interpretation and new building codes and construction requirements becoming effective.

The program will begin again in January 2017 with the first class taught on January 12th. Our first topic is CCIP #1: Green Buildings and the Construction Risk.

Learn more about the program by clicking the link below and sign up for the CCIP program. Make 2017 the year you distinguish yourself as an expert in your field of insurance.
