Woodland Hills, CA, May 3, 2017- The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers is proud to announce the hiring of Jeffrey Shibata as Executive Vice President and Director of Insurance Operations.
Jeffrey brings over 30 years of experience to Liberty, with an extensive background in all lines of insurance as well as agency operations and management.
Jeffrey formerly had a long tenure at Elkins Jones Insurance Agency and its predecessor, the George Elkins Company, where he worked in various management roles while interacting closely with a diverse clientele in sectors such as real estate, wholesale, retail, service industries and manufacturing.
In his new role at Liberty, Jeffrey will have oversight of all commercial insurance and financial operations, including accounting, contract administration, claims advocacy, carrier relationship management, marketing and coverage consultancy.
Jeffrey graduated from UCLA with both a B.A. in Political Science and MBA, and has a Jurist Doctor degree from Southwestern University of Law. He is a native of Los Angeles and lives in Woodland Hills with his wife and four sons, where he serves several roles as an active member of his local church.
