Center of Excellence? Comparison against the general population & not with other responders not exposed to the dust? How about conflict of interest? Mt. Sinai is setting themselves up for further funding to treat these responders, using a flawed study.
How many of these responders have lifestyle issues effecting their cardiac health, such as obesity, smoking, failure to exercise, drug use & drinking? Not to mention that they are all 10 years older?
And of course all of these responders were in perfect health before
9/11, when they were questioned because most if not all, have lawsuits pending or were part of the settlement? Did the Excellence
center secure pre-9/11 medical to confirm what they were told?

@Causation. My husband was a first responder on 9/11. He has undergone a femoral artery bypass for a 14 inch blockage in his left leg. You say “lifestyle issues”. Then please explain to me how this is possible; my husband isn’t obese, does not smoke, goes to the gym 3 times a week, does not use drugs or alcohol. Yes, my husband was in perfect health before 9/11.

Forgot to mention that Mt. Sinai doctors should also disclose the large fees that they get from the NYS plaintiff bar for testifying in court on similar flawed studies?
