The St. Paul Companies has expanded its operations to New Zealand by opening an office in Auckland. The company will conduct business as St. Paul International Insurance Co., Ltd., a branch of The St. Paul’s international head office in London.
The St. Paul’s New Zealand operation has developed its products and services for local commercial clients, with an emphasis on specialty liability products for professional indemnity, the technology and health care industries. The operation will be able to assist multinational corporations trading into and out of New Zealand by handling the global risk factors they face in today’s global marketplace
. The St. Paul’s operation in Auckland will be staffed by a team of underwriters, risk management and claim staff to serve insurance brokers and policyholders. Joining the Auckland office are: Dean Edwards, Professional Indemnity and Technology Underwriting Manager; Colette Taylor, Professional Liability Underwriter; and Frances-Mary Cossey, Risk Manager.
