FINEOS Corporation, a leading innovator of banking and insurance software, has been named by The Irish Exporters Association as ‘Exporter of the Year’ for 2004. The Irish Prime Minister, Mr. Bertie Ahern, presented the award at the Exports Awards ceremony in Dublin.
“FINEOS won the accolade after also coming first in the Software and International Services export category,” said the company’s announcement. “It was named overall winner because of its impressive international performance in developing new business in markets such as Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and for increasing its market share in the highly competitive US market. Offering unique software solutions for the banking and insurance market, the company’s revenue for 2003 was in excess of EUR 17 million, of which 95% came from exports.”
