ACE announced the appointment of Tom Hillier in the role of Corporate Casualty Manager for London, based in ACE’s Leadenhall Street office. He will report to Graeme McGeachie, Corporate P&C Underwriting Manager, Southern Region.
ACE noted that the “appointment follows the announcement of a new operating structure for ACE UK in September of this year consisting of two new segments – Corporate and Major Risks” [See IJ web site - http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/international/2009/09/25/104057.htm]. Hiller will be responsible for working with brokers and managing ACE’s London Corporate Casualty portfolio.
He joined ACE’s UK and Ireland Environmental Risk team in 2005, and “helped to establish and grow ACE’s environmental offering across the region.”
Pat Drinan, ACE UK’s Director of Corporate Risk described Hiller’s appointment as “an important step as we grow our Corporate team in the UK and Ireland. Our Corporate Casualty department has a strong track record in London, so this appointment further compliments the team already in place and supports our desire to promote talent from within into key roles.”
