UK-based Broker Miller Insurance Services Limited, which specializes in both insurance and reinsurance, announced a number of senior appointments to its reinsurance business unit.
Former Guy Carpenter Managing Director Adrian Stewart will join Miller to “help lead the expansion of its property reinsurance book,” said the bulletin. At Guy Carpenter he was “instrumental in leading and expanding its global retrocessional practice from £3.5 million [$5.33 million] to £25 million [$38 million] in 10 years.
Nick Pomeroy and Jeremy Crowch will join Stewart. Pomeroy specializes in property reinsurance and was previously a senior vice president at Guy Carpenter, where he had been for 30 years.
Crowch is an ILW (industry loss warranty) expert, accessing traditional and non-traditional markets. He will join from Evolution Markets where he is Vice President of catastrophe derivatives. Prior to that he was at Gallagher Re and Willis, where he was a divisional director.
