Dallas-based Docucorp International, a provider of enterprise information solutions, appointed Marshall Edens as insurance practice leader for the Central U.S., a newly formed post. Edens will coordinate all of Docucorp’s insurance sales activities in the Central U.S., along with recruiting, training and managing sales reps in the region.
Serving the insurance industry since 1982, Docucorp offers software solutions, professional consulting services and application service provider (ASP) hosting to more than 900 insurance industry clients around the world, along with more than 100 clients in utilities and financial services. William Barry, the company’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, noted that the company’s insurance practice has increased to the point where more focus and regional sales management were necessary to maximize Docucorp’s domain experience, technologies, reputation, and the success of its sales and service organizations.
Just last month, the company noted third quarter revenues of $16 million, which represented a 23 percent increase during the same period in 2000.
