Indianapolis-based life insurance software maker Vector Technologies announced Dave Kerford was named president of the company and its subsidiary, Vector Insurance Services, effective May 15, 2004.
Kerford previously held several important executive positions with Cybertek Corp. He was responsible for Cybertek’s Chicago and Dallas outsourcing operations, and then became chief operating officer for the acquired Leverage Group in Glastonbury, Conn. He subsequently served as chief operating officer for InsureZone, the Internet-based general agency in Ft. Worth, Texas, and most recently headed business development for McCamish Systems, a specialty product third-party administrator based in Atlanta.
The Vector Life Administration System is installed in more than 40 life insurance companies in North America and the Pacific Rim and processes millions of policies and annuities for its licensees every day. Vector also makes Tarsas, a life reinsurance administration system that is installed in 28 life insurance companies.
