Illinois-based RLI Corp. has hired Jeffrey Fick to serve as vice president of human resources. Fick will oversee RLI human resources and administrative activities.
Fick comes to RLI with 19 years’ experience as an attorney and human resources executive. He recently served as vice president, human resources and community relations at HNI Corporation, the Muscatine, Iowa, based office furniture manufacturer. During his tenure at HNI, he also served as senior counsel then acting general counsel and corporate secretary.
“Jeff brings practical, broad-based experience from across the total spectrum of human resources, law, and community relations,” said RLI President & CEO Jonathan Michael. “He’s demonstrated leadership in various strategic areas including compensation, succession planning, benefits, human capital management and company culture.”
RLI, a specialty insurance company celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2005, offers a portfolio of property and casualty coverages and surety bonds serving “niche” or underserved markets.
