Citizens Insurance Company of America, part of The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc., recently announced that David N. Jeffery, has been named regional vice president for personal lines for the company’s Michigan territory. Jeffery will work out of the Citizen Insurance headquarters in Howell, Mich.
Jeffery joins Citizens Insurance and The Hanover from Safeco Insurance Co., where he served as sales director for the company’s Midwest region. In this capacity, Jeffery was responsible for the design, development and implementation of strategic sales plans for both personal lines and commercial lines business, and for developing key relationships with independent agents throughout the region.
Prior to that, Jeffery served in a variety of sales and marketing positions since joining the company in 1992, including sales manager for the company’s Mid-Atlantic region and agency technology manager.
The Hanover Insurance Group is the holding company for a group of insurance companies headquartered in Worcester, Mass.. The Hanover companies include Citizens Insurance Company of America, founded in 1915 and headquartered in Howell, Michi. and The Hanover Insurance Co., founded in 1852, also headquartered in Worcester.
