New Insurance Brokerage Being Launched in Chicago

River North Insurance Services, a newly formed insurance brokerage with offices at 400 N. State St. in Chicago, announced it will be offering both business and personal lines of insurance. It also specializes in providing insurance services to the entertainment industry.

River North is led by owner and Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Segal.

It will focus on customized, cost-effective personal insurance and financial plans for affluent individuals and their families, the River North announcement said. The company said it will take an integrated approach toward insurance and risk management by coordinating the services of professionals in various highly specialized disciplines.

River North’s founding team of five specialists have more than 100 years of collective experience and a deep understanding of working with and servicing clients’ specialized needs, the company said.

River North’s offices have the capacity to eventually accommodate a staff as large as 30. In the future, the company also plans to open an office in Los Angeles that will specialize in the entertainment industry.
