Louisville, Ky.-based insurance broker Neace Lukens has opened a new office in Dayton, Ohio. The new office consists of two full-time employees. Michael Ward joins as vice president of its construction insurance services group, and Deb Markland serves as a surety account manager.
Ward brings more than 22 years of experience in the insurance industry to Neace Lukens. As vice president of Neace Lukens’ construction group, Ward will serve Neace Lukens as a bond producer, managing all aspects of surety bond review, execution and issuance for Neace Lukens’ clients in the construction industry.
Prior to his new role, Ward worked at Wells Fargo Insurance Services for more than eight years. He is a member of Allied Construction Industries (ACI), the Associated General Contractors of America and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
As a surety account manager, Markland will assist producers in Neace Lukens’ surety business. She brings more than 18 years of experience in the insurance industry through her work with Acordia and Pottinger & Co. Markland most recently worked with Wells Fargo Insurance Services.
