United Heartland, a national workers’ compensation insurance company based in New Berlin, Wis., announced it has been selected as one of the Top 100 Workplaces in Southeastern Wisconsin by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 2012.
This is the second year in a row United Heartland has been included on this list. Last year, United Heartland was ranked 25th out of 35 mid-sized companies. This year, the company moved to 9th out of 39 companies in the mid-sized employer category.
Top Workplaces leads the way in measuring the health of U.S. companies based upon employee opinions. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Top Workplaces 2012 program recognized 100 companies within the region. This year, 195 companies participated in the survey, which means more than 101,000 employees were eligible to give their feedback.
