Once again IJ leaves out an important piece of info – He has been sentenced to 6 months in prison and has to pay the 250K. If he doesn’t repay it then he can face more time.

How about if he repays the money AND does some time? I’ve dealt with similar situations, and there’s no reason to let this guy off easy.
Kane County Jail is over crowded. They are letting Non Violent Offenders out with a slap on the wrist. (Getting Real Close to home for me)
