AIG eBusiness Risk Solutions to Offer Antivirus, Internet Security Resources

AIG eBusiness Risk Solutions, a division of American International Companies, formed an alliance with Computer Associates International Inc. (CA) to help AIGnetAdvantage Suite(SM) insureds manage Internet security risks.

According to the company, the alliance enables eligible AIGnetAdvantage Security and AIGnetAdvantage Complete policy applicants to receive a premium discount of up to 10 percent (where permitted by law) from AIG member companies for using Computer Associates’ eTrust Antivirus and EZ Armor Antivirus.

Additionally, eligible AIGnetAdvantage Security and AIGnetAdvantage Complete policyholders will qualify for a discount from Computer Associates of up to 10 percent off of Computer Associates’ list prices when purchasing licenses to Computer Associates’ eTrust Antivirus or EZ Armor Antivirus security solutions.

Underwritten by AIG member companies, the AIGnetAdvantage Suite of products provides up to $25 million in coverage for exposures including Internet liability, web media/content liability, technology errors and omissions, first party loss and damage to data and e-revenue business interruption due to computer attacks. This alliance expands the roster of the AIGeBusiness Risk Solutions Technology Alliance, which offers access to leading Internet Security firms to help AIGnetAdvantage Suite insureds manage the risks of doing business on the Internet. The members of the Technology Alliance include CertCo, Invicta Networks Inc, Kroll-O’Gara, Predictive Systems Inc., Riptech Inc., RSA Security Inc., Securify Inc., Unisys Corporation, and VIGILANTe.com Inc.

American International Companies insureds also have access to the Technology Panel Counsel, a roster of the nation’s premier law firms specializing in emerging legal issues related to intellectual property law and high-technology issues, for legal defense against technology-related claims.
