Lighthouse Underwriters has added a Business Owners Policy (BOP) to its Take1 entertainment insurance program. Take1 is an all-lines package written with an AM Best “A” rated carrier and is available to audio/visual rental dealers, equipment dealers and multimedia production companies.
The BOP features actual loss sustained business income and extra expense coverage; automatic coverage for accounts receivable, valuable paper and crime coverage; per location aggregate coverage; and blanket coverage for additional insureds. The policy also offers a blanket waiver of subrogation, broadened wording for the named insured, business owners extension endorsement and no coinsurance on property.
Take1 includes a specially tailored audio/visual equipment form, a DICE package designed to cover negative film, videotape, faulty stock and a full complement of comprehensive property & casualty lines. This program is ideal for businesses that rent audio/visual equipment to hotels, presentation companies and convention center, audio/visual equipment dealers, audio/visual and multi-media production companies and satellite up-link companies, Lighthouse says.
Agents and brokers seeking more information on Take1 should contact Brian Cropp, Take1 program director at (703) 770-3700 or e-mail: bcropp@lighthouseunderwriters.com.
